Successful EMAS registration for the German sites completed

The Energy Efficiency Act 2023 (EnEfG) came into force on 18 November 2023. Companies that exceed a certain threshold for total energy consumption must, in addition to ISO 14001 certification, either introduce ISO 50001 certification or the independent EMAS system. THK RHYTHM AUTOMOTIVE GmbH has exceeded this threshold. For this reason, it was decided together with our customers not to continue with the previous ISO 14001 certification, but to replace it with the Eco Management Audit Scheme (EMAS).
